Well Navygulf if you have truly lost all those $$ then I am sorry for you, but if you have only lost what you've gained then you are no worse off in this life are you? Lots of hard lessons for lots of people unfortunately.
The cowboy floggers of margin loans (Commsec et al) are totally irresponsible pushing their product in an obviously falling market. Greed ruled the market for a number of years prior to Sept 07 etc and all the greedy hot shots have come a cropper. Now is the time to buy quality stocks and put them away and collect dividends. In 4 years time you'll be laughing. The day traders will still be leaping in and out and making peanuts.
As far as NFL??? Maybe the directors, past and present, should cash in their houses and Ferraris (!) and reimburse all the shareholder who listened to their misleading bs.
