Adrian is a hard act to follow. He has a strong vision and the charisma and respect of everyone to make things happen at T1 and even though there has been a long handover he has still been firmly at the helm. He is the type of person who people follow and TNE has his DNA running through it. The thing he did well was continue to reinvent the company based on his deep understanding of the markets they operate in and his understanding of technology. Most other companies struggle with that as everyone has differing opinions. He has the credibility to bang heads together and get everyone to follow his direction. A technology direction is a long term strategy where you are gambling that a technology will get acceptance. He got that right every step of the way. Ed Chung is an accountant. He will need to ensure he has strong technology people reporting to him that are united. This is not a short term issue as they are half way through a direction led by Adrian, but will be important over the next 10 years.
