Think about it, Its not a marginal project and its going to get built so the prices in the study dont really matter.the metals prices will be what they are when the revenues start comming in.
Put yourself in the companys shoes and see that its only an advantage using spot prices that leads to a higher NPV that leads to a higher TAKEOVER PRICE. Will the spot wingers still be crying when it leads to a higher bid price because the project value is higher?
