I don't know anything about Dundee and was not aware that Helikon is a major shareholder........This is the final piece that makes it make sense to me.
From the 2024 annual report:
So between 31 December and 17 March Helikon Investments went up by over 5%.
The $80M CR was between these two dates allowing then to easily accumulate all these shares with NO share price impact.....Anyone who has spent ANY time watching the ADT depth would know that this would have exploded the price in normal trading......
.......and a month later they come out in support of a deal for the acquisition by a company they are a significant shareholder in!!???
.....smell test is high on the Richter scale!!............and it seems Laura had NO real plan for the upgrade to 1.3Mtpa processing
Australia has laws to specifically stop this happening.......I don't know anything about UK corporate law......
