I'm not implying that COH have "put their reputation on the line to support this news release" nor that it had "no credible basis".
What I'm implying is that it is highly unusual to report this type of trial success in a high risk patient population before treatment has concluded. Also, the lack of commentary from both COH and Maiti was noted in this very thread on the day of the announcement... Rather strange, no?
