My understanding is that BLG are expanding the field of opportunities for the RPCVD technology. The advisor in question is an ex-Lumileds insider and that would be a good candidate to help work out how best to commercialisation with Lumileds. BLG won't have to rely on Lumiled's say so on whether the technology deserves a premium royalty. He also can provide technical guidance in the broader field that BLG is now addressing.
