This is a fraction of the remuneration report. I would estimate the smallest of % of people read it because it is intended to be boring without impressive pictures or funky graphics. Apparently 27% of the people that voted against last years remuneration resolution. It w.s partly due to lack of disclosure on some items. My gripe with this table is the a row that shows the blowout in expenses over time. I dare say that it was intentionally omitted to only show a rosy performance.
I’m also disgusted that they only present a wonderful uptick from 2023 metrics in terms of % increase. Only because the 2033 data was so poor with write offs. Shouldn’t they do at least a 3 year CAGR. Don’t people in this industry say previous performance is no guarantee of future performance. If the 3 year % CAGR is used, these numbers wouldn’t be so good. Bit underhand and not that ethical I think.
I’m voting no again for remuneration resolution. I’m going to post another disturbing table from the report that outlines the large pay increases the executive are requesting.
