As an AFG broker working in a larger org - I can tell you right now that volumes are increasing and in the next 6 - 12 months lodgements and settlements will reflect all time highs.
AFG suite of products are also being taken up a lot more than they have been in the past.
As for margins, all lenders are struggling on this front based on the murmurs and reports coming out. Funding pressures and other world events aren't helping at this stage too. This will change eventually though, with inflation having peaked in most economies we should see a slow but steady decline in rates, funding pressures and a resurgence of credit flowing more frequently and at a better price in the near future.
