Interesting to see them adopt a 51/49 on a lateral hire. Seems quite rational given lateral hires are usually quite demanding on base pay. Helping pre-partner level employees progress to partner via. This approach has always been their strategy to poach, but lining that up with an ownership interest.... interesting indeed.
