BTR has been sitting on a potential monstor for some time.The way the most recent announcement was made sent us regular followers imaginations into a spin.We thought this is it.
Back to earth now it may be nothing,just some Govt dept requirements.I dont think its anything major because Mumbwa is basically BHP's gig at this time and they didnt think the news deserved any mention(remember they have 100 people on site).
We did however see btr as one of the most discussed stocks on hotcopper for a few days.People were talking about past and possible future drilling results.This may have spread the word and made more people aware of the potential at Mumbwa.This is a good thing.
So given
+the news is basically neutral
+Zinc prices have risen sharply in the last few days
+the Glencore deal is basically done and dusted
+Scott has done good job sprooking btr in WA
+many may have become aware of huge upside potential at Mumbwa
I think share prices will not necessarily drop and may evan move north when trading starts up.
