The company gave Paguanta a red-hot run, but in response the Australian market has comprehensively yawned. Clearly nobody here wants zinc.

It's quite mystifying. Global stocks of zinc are at historical lows, a couple of large-scale mining operations have reached end-of-life over the last few years, exploration has been very low-key over the last decade so there's not much new resource coming on line. It seems the perfect moment to get into zinc. The resource at Paguanta is (or should be) insanely exciting... high grades, and with all our drilling we weren't able to find two edges or a bottom to the resource. And yet, no investment; no corner-stone investors, no significant buy-in from the market.

It looks like investors here just want gold. So now we're looking to monetise the Paguanta asset to fund Kouri.
