If there is an incoming offtake from sugar cane farms, it would come at a time of 11 year highs in the sugar price due to lower production from India. I posted this on one of the other threads this morning;

A short video from Bloomberg on sugar prices hitting an 11 year high on shortages - and rice shortages also feared, both due to reduced monsoon rains in India . Some African nations are asking for imports from India that is expected to decrease its exports to contain local prices. First it was food shortages from the Ukraine war, now its weather related.
