I have invested in and talked to Lundin before, and know these guys are the savviest operators i have met. That led me to buy Africa Oil a few times, including earlier this year, as they consistently make great deals. They do not buy without knowing they are getting an outstanding deal. And as JV partner to Tullow, they know Tullow's plans intimately.
This is very good.
Furthermore, Africa Oil has its hands full in East Africa, developing a project other bigger operators would dream of. Why get distracted on the other side of Africa, unless they see it as an opportunity so golden that it is worth the effort.
