who would take up the shortfall when the SP is half the CR price. This is why the alternative funding options have been loudly stated as plan B. I reckon we have found our SP base at the moment ... range 6.8c to 7.1c. And I would say the market should have priced in the CR falling short. If anyone is surprised and dumps on an announcement that the shortfall wasn't filled, then they obviously haven't been following IVZ or the stock market very closely
