Agreed. I think the thing that people can't really comprehend is that this event will cause mass unemployment in many sectors, including retail and hospitality, many of whose workers would have previously been frequent BNPL users. When people lose their jobs and incomes, BNPL spending will drop and the likelihood of them paying existing BNPL debts will also decline. A double whammy, if you will.
