To me it seems simple... I've got the 15k sitting in offset. Don't pay till maybe a week before the date, wait for the returned funds (however much that will be) and then use the remainder however you like!
Its looking less and less likely that sp is going anywhere near 23.... So free money yay! But above posters are right, no point in paying now... You've dicked yourself out of using that 15k, and at this time of year I'm sure everyone has a better use for it.
