1) casposo drilling results have been disappointing thus far, I would really like them to be better but Unless something significant is found soon I doubt the management will keep throwing good money after bad. The 5M oz reserves are significant because they can actually be monetized in a relatively short time period. casposo has so much silver production those 5M ounces will be mined within 18-24 months. There is potential here for more ore (the saying goes the best place to find a new gold mine is beside an old one) but I think pinguino is the real silver story for growth at austral. I’ll have to review the docs again for specifics but IIRC there are 10’s of millions ounces at the pinguino site. Rawhide in the USA is also a wildcard that could lead to interesting acquisitions perhaps even in Canada.

2) small float is one of the reasons I got into this stock. Eduardo is a man who knows how to make money grow in high inflation environments. He knows exactly what he owns. Why would a multi billionaire own this stock? Especially one who was funded by George Soros.

he is going to let this thing go to the moon before he gets out of this stock IMO. It’s a 70M position to him in a billion dollar portfolio. What a perfect hedge against a real estate and business empire.
