thanks for the post nic. what you are saying makes a lot of sense to me. I had also been thinking that lim and wilson have the opinion the money can be repatriated in a timely way, or that there is at least a very good chance of that happening. I agree that if amp are allowed to vote and vote against the wind up then it won't get up. there seems to be a mix of opinions out there re the wind up and they would only need another 14% to vote against the wind up for the motion to be defeated.

very interesting to consider that perhaps lim and wilson have received advice that maybe amp can't vote or that there is a pressure point there in terms of being seen to have a conflict of interest. one thing is for sure they will be squeezing hard to extract value out of their investment.

do you think the sp will fall much if shareholders vote not to wind up the fund?
