Will be interesting to see what happens tomorrow. It's been up the past couple of trading days on higher-than-average volume. I pulled some numbers from Max Gaming though and it looks like since March their placements are down 2.5%. That seems like a steep loss in a short amount of time. Before someone accuses me of cherry picking numbers, I could not get data before March.

Also took a look at Eilers-Fantini fo US performance and Ainsworth was inconspicuously missing from all of the top performing lists for new games and cabinets.

It's not looking good. The new CEO certainly has his work cut out for him, and righting the ship isn't going to be a short or easy process. I'm keen t hear what he says on the investor call. I expect a miss and another drop. If he has a plan to make bold changes to turn things around I will probably buy again. I was lucky to get out at about $2.40 last time for an ok profit.

As you would expect, their old cabinets (Ambassador and A560) are going down in count, but their newer cabinets aren't making it up which means they lost over 2% of floor share to competitors. This is directly attributable to a lack of performance of all of their new games, and a lack of faith that operators have when considering a cabinet purchase. I know Sci Games and IGT are heavily discounting cabinets and it would not surprise me if they were the beneficiaries of the loss of floor space, especially if Aristocrat has reached saturation.
