What has 'ESG' got to do with my earlier question to you? I simply asked why you already haven't sold in panic.
You're still stuck on the majority SH dilemma. Yes, more shares held = more votes! In my opinion (as a very minor holder), that's how it should be. The more $$ you have invested, the greater exposure you have to benefit or otherwise, so your vote should count for more than a small holder.

Perhaps you could benefit from parking the whole 'green/climate change' debate and just look at technology. New tech is cheaper (yes), reliable and more efficient than old tech. AGL will benefit from new tech if implemented correctly. It's already out there around the world, including in our own country and it's already proven. BESS is a gap that will need to close in the near future in order to realise the full potential of new tech, but that is happening as we speak as well.

I don't know about others, but I'm not 'scared' of a billionaire who puts his money where his mouth is. He's not on the outside looking in anymore, he's invested and he wants to prove the benefits of the new tech. All power to him and GLTAH!
