Outgoing board and management (and former CEO) were not "woke"... They made a mess of selling renewable assets into PowAR co & overpriced the repurchase of electricity from those assets in PPAS (which got impaired) they have been dragging their feet any progress on AGLs generation fleet since Vesey got muscled out by Josh Freydenburg nagging to the board about Liddell closing....
you will also note that the SP had been in decline since Vesey lost the CEO role (until the rise from high 5's October last year) - wholesale electricity prices also declined during that time.
