We will be looking at General Purchasing Organisations (GPOs) and Independent
Delivery Networks (IDNs) opportunities in the near term as these channels will provide faster access to a
large number of hospitals within each purchasing group.
Does anyone have an insight into why the economics of using GPOs and IDNs is attractive to management? I don't know much about how these arrangements leverage access or sales etc. and what's 'in it' for parties on both sides of the transaction.
