At the AGM, one shareholder did ask how much money GOR have spent on exploration over the last 5 years and what was the return. Duncan Gibbs said about $100M, stating it was around $20M initially and then had increased to $30M, so on average $25M (I think it's actually more but that number includes Gruyere JV exploration). In regards to returns on exploration, Duncan pointed to the slides on resource growth at Gruyere and Golden Highway, and the 0.5Moz in 100% owned GOR Mineral Resources (I think a bit of glossing over that a fair amount of this value was made more than 5 years ago, and nothing really in the last 5 years)
There was a question around what was the intention with the DEG holding. I think Duncan said they had made about $100M on the investment to date, and at the very least saw it as an good investment which they could monetise but didn't speak to any specific plans, other than they had a sizeable investment which gave them a seat at the table in its future.
