Yeah it's interesting because essentially he works for a competitor. I follow because he has a deep understanding of most of these things and uses well presented data sources. He is obviously an expert in pilot process design and viability for upscaling.
Thing for me is. Carbon black has it's own market. So supplying that from a process is fine. He hasn't mentioned producing different morphologies or customised types from the Monolith process. I'm interested to know the ranges and types they can produce.
I'm also interested in the efficiency of heating to plasma temp levels and the maintenance and operability of that. High temps require high temp materials. I dont know what's involved. My knowledge is vague for that.
I also did see someone from Hazer mention our ability to treat syngas which would of been obvious for some, but that makes any coal gasification projects or oil refinery syngas production or capture can also have our tech applied. I think this next 12 months is the proving time for us with CDP. We will sink or swim but im extremely encouraged by our team, the engineering we have engaged and the overall process so far and I think with the partners we have engaged, the internal details of the tech must be very secure.
If anyone paid attention, we could be building right now but the issues are administration problems from basically applying and waiting for council approvals, land approvals, heritage permitting etc etc. Our detailed design process has found issues with a vendor compressor function before commissioning so that's a major plus. We have the long lead items ordered, we have slight issues with third party product supply chains, but otherwise nothing serious that is our tech or engineering fault.
