As the plant was originally designed as a 100tpa plant, the rest of the equipment might not be up to handling a much higher capacity. Basically methane is methane so I doubt whether there'd be much change if a different feedstock were used. It might be possible to switch from one to another depending on customers requirements. Originally the CDP was designed to run for two or three years only, with ARENA funding provided for its operation ($2 m from memory). Geoff Ward's model was to build, own, operate Hazer plants. I don't know what plans they had for the CDP after the operation phase finished, scrap, or sell it. That's why I was interested in in the possibility of expanding it and connecting it to a natural gas pipeline. Now we're in a licensing model only, under Geoff Ward, who knows what the plans for the CDP are, maybe there are none at this point.
