I don't work in the gas industry, but having built and operated two small biogas plants, I do know the difference between bio methane and natural gas as I'm sure Hazer do. so for them to say in an announcement and repeated on LinkedIn that the CDP was converting natural gas was perplexing. I prefer to take advice from the company rather than LinkedIn because those posts are not authorised by the board. Fortunately the company acknowledged the error. Regarding carbon credits and clean or green hydrogen, if it were not for biomethane being carbon negative, we probably would not have qualified for an ARENA grant. To my knowledge turquoise hydrogen still does not qualify for the Australian Hydrogen Headstart program.
