HZR hazer group limited

    Pure speculation now, but I wonder if the Canada 2,500tpa plant will be located at a Vancouver wastewater plant or landfill.

    Fistly, the plant design looks self-contained, like the CDP - nothing like the first reactor train module in a much larger future plant.

    Secondly, it was very interesting that a Canadian ethical investment fund bought into Hazer's raise last year. In a LinkedIn article, they wrote:

    "It can be argued that there will be some fugitive emissions from the extraction and transportation of the gas feedstock however with Hazer’s commitment to also use waste or biogas as part of their mix, this will effectively negate those fugitive emissions bringing the process to as close to or if not a zero emissions outcome."

    It's the first we'd heard about that commitment.

    If this 2,500tpa plant ran on biomethane, it could offset 3% fugitive emissions of an 83,000tpa plant using on natural gas.
