    From your post it's clear that Elk have learned a lot from Grieve which can be applied to other projects - presumably including selection of new projects .

    A share buy back would not leverage those lessons and Elk should rerate when Grieve starts up so perhaps it's too late to start a buyback .

    The assets look great but they need to keep the pipeline of new projects growing with so many distressed sellers out there at this stage of the cycle before they go up in price .

    It's a difficult one though knowing which way spare cash could be put to use to create the greatest value for shareholders .

    Could they buy that many back without paying a premium to make a difference to the SP in the long term ? Are there that many weak holders left who want to get out ?
