Another take is ...... assuming this EIG backed TO of Santos goes ahead ...... its obvious that EIG will role SXY into STO. Why ? once SXY's gas fields are producing. GLNG needs the gas and STO / SXY will supply it.
now EIG paid 31.5c for 12.6% of SXY. My guess is they will force an equity merge with STO at circa .50c. ..... around March 2018 , Its a no brainer. Its definitely on the cards IF this EIG backed bid for STO goes ahead. I personally will be looking at ways to buy more SXY, in the lead up !!!
