then an announcement stating that headphones and demo systems are RAPIDLY approaching release... Then crickets for months on end. They leave the market wondering and guessing, and eventually assuming the worst. An update with a brief outline of issues would be better than silence.

I fully agree that silence is frustrating.
,but two comments; - firstly Fred only makes announcements when there is something to announce... look at the long term history. He is not spruiking the stock. Doesn't need to.....
and secondly, China is in lockdown. The factory is shut. No action there means no chips.
Hope they can reopen soon. However, Chanukah,Xmas ,Chinese new year ....not likely to see much action in the immediate term, so enjoy the holidays..
