Tbh, I have always been highly sceptical of the idea that one drug could treat "autism". It is called Autism Spectrum Disorder for a reason - there is a wide spectrum of phenotypic presentations caused by a wide variety of underlying genetic and environmental pathologies with different mechanisms.
NEU has taken the sensible approach of selecting pathologies they know their drug can address.
