Absolutely. My career is in health and I have a high amount of experience with ASD diagnoses. There might even be a push back on a drug for ASD. Perhaps in asd level 3. But many people see ASD as their whole identity and their Autistic characteristics are part of their person. In my experience they want acceptance and support with how they are, traits, quirks, characteristics and all, not a drug to try and change them
