Yes I highly doubt they are running Phase 1 trials on other indications. Phase 1 implies they are in the clinic and dosing humans. The phase 1 trial they ran earlier used healthy individuals to assess the drug was safe to give to humans at specified doses that they thought would be relevant for achieving efficacy in the later phase 2 trials.

Please correct me if I am wrong but I imagine there has only been one phase 1 trial for 2591 and that has been applicable for all four of the subsequent phase 2 trials. The only reason they would run another phase 1 for this drug would be if they wanted to consider different dosing protocols where they were attempting to achieve higher levels of 2591 in the patient. What they are likely to be doing at the moment would be running preclinical studies on animals that would be used to help select new disease indications with the highest likelihood of success when going straight to a phase 2 study in humans with that condition.
