Baanya, appreciate your frustration - I can certainly relate and also sold some of my holdings recently as a risk management exercise. I have also been fortunate enough to show up when ALT was sub 0.006 so I'm not as far in the red as others.
The scenario you outlined is a concern, but it also assumes that there'd only be interest from a single party. It's like if I went to sell my house and there was 1 buyer, they could just hold off until I went broke or got sick of waiting. If there's more than 1 interested party, waiting for ALT to go broke would be a risky game.
I attended the AGM and yes, while I heard some of the same stuff I've heard before, I did leave feeling optimistic enough to regret my risk management exercise ;-)! But I've been burnt before so I guess we just wait and see...
