By my calculations, management have $1.67bn in outstanding performance rights. Their STIs and LTIs are so stacked in their favour, that ~96% of Peter Goodmans salary is comp'ed shares - with an economic valuation of $6.10 in his contract, but trading at $24.50. Pfft. If they get their long term incentives, management will take home $700m in year 4 and another $350m per year until 10 years is up - excluding their STIs and normal salary.
Don't get me wrong, really like GMG, but just glad 25% of the shareholders voted for this remuneration strategy to be recalculated. It's tilted too much against shareholders.
