KBJ if you do a sum of the last five days vols, including the 21stnovs trading day (which I guess you can argue is a previous trading day, immediately preceeding the AGM at 6pm Eastern time), you get something like 14.8, times 1.5=22.2 so allowing for my rounding errors and assuming that is the calc methodology, I think they are about right (I've just grabbed approx vols, rounded down, each times the days close and divide the sum by the cumulative vol)
all heavily weighted by the bigger vol on the down day and it's low close
would be significantly higher without that down day so, presuming my quick calc is correct, all hangs on the interpretation of "the previous 5 Days" ....
is there an award for most anal post of the day?
