Hi all
I was at the AGM and asked a few questions (as usual) ... haven't posted until now because I usually go on and on and on ... but my expensive, fancy, HP laptop purchased only a few months ago busted the hinges on the lid and is now in Malaysia being repaired so I am now typing on a borrowed unit. ...

All that has been posted here I agree with ... a couple of extra bits of the story to add...

• I asked why ... if the Gen 1 units were so wonderful, why is it that two of the three hospitals that used them in our earlier trials were willing to give them back ... as in Aunty Jack's "touch our Gen1 and I'll rip your bloody arms off" ... my interpretation is that these 2 units are the units in USA at the moment ... it is necessary to give one of these to a specialist authorised company that will analyse the machine such that they will confirm it as being to the specification we claim it to be which generated the data we are relying on as part of our FDA submission
• the specification is important to the extent that upgrades to the software which might otherwise improve the results are not allowed ... the data obtained from the 2x Aust hospitals and the 4x American hospitals from the upcoming trial will be quarantined and protected until evaluation at the end by the (again) authorised firm compiling the results of the trial.
• In discussions one-on-one after the meeting it was confirmed to me that there was a BOD meeting in the morning prior to the AGM and issues such as strategic planning for future manufacturing and distribution were discussed ... I don't think I am violating confidences with this ... the reason I mention it is that I was left with the impression that our BOD is really looking ahead and is "on the ball" ... given their collective pool of knowledge and experience I am very confident about EMV's future.
