I popped over to Perth for the AGM on Friday and if the new Management and Board can deliver on their plan I will be a very happy person. The reference to SQZ on slide 2 is the size deal they are after MULTIPLE TIMES which is the footnote on slide 5 about scalability. Interim outcomes in Q2 and Definitive Therapeutic data by end Q3. The comment was that if the interim outcomes are what they expect then Pharmaco will be very interested.
Genentech arrangement is still live but next milestone at end of 2019.
They were silent on who they expect to partner with so no idea if Sarepta or anyone else.
It was good to see all the major investors present and seemingly confident and supportive of the new board and management.
I’ve been waiting nearly 14 years for a big outcome and I sense the wait is reaching the end. Roll on 2019. (And yes I have heard the confidence before about next year, but this “feels” very different.) Good to see total company focus on advancing the science as the pathway to success.
