I'm actually quite excited by this announcement. this is the first time PIQ have publicly advised royalty. even though the value is not specific it allows extrapolation and a better understanding of what their financial future will look like. to me IMO and being conservative I think it's reasonable to assume royalties of $165M per year ($5 per test x 33,000,000) 33,000,000 being 1% of the population with diabetes prevalence world wide.. (refer to slide 14 of the announcement)
obviously this would create a massive shift on the current share price and see us in multiples of today's entry point. I've bought more on the back of this and expect this to be solid performer over the next 12 months!
