They have an advisory board of ~7 of the leading TAVR ‘surgeons’ (TAVR op not performed by ‘surgeons’ per se). These are the same individuals that perform the procedure day in day out with Edwards’ device. The feeback was that assembling an advisory board of this caliber would be the norm for the likes of Medtronic etc, but almost unheard of for a minnow such as AHZ - that speaks to the quality of the tissue, the device in its current stage of development, management, and the game changing nature of this new innovation.
Very promising and exciting.
