VSA - Volume Spread Analysis is a concept of technical analysis created by Tom Williams, my introduction to it was through his book "Master the Markets"
I believe its origins are found in Wyckoff theory or the works of Richard Wyckoff but I'm sure there are several other influences in there as well.
