The shorts accelerated from around June which I think was when Thomas Cook was looking in trouble. Probably market expected a downgrade along with a write off. Well that played out as a one off and sentiment for travel sector has somewhat improved since. So I think the short's last hope was today and now there is no bad news forseeable. The shorts will now underpin the SP as they slowly try to exit.
Well done to holders that bought on the dip to $10. I was a little more conservative and got in between $10.50 - $11.00 after the TA confirmed the reversal. Looks like a good hold for at least another month for my shortish term trade and longer for my medium term parcel.
