Well the shorts pushed down the SP to under fair value due to some assumptions which now do not appear to be justified. So there will need to be some recovery based just on that fact. And yes, there was a bonus sugar hit this morning due to a short squeeze, eg. some min-shorts from citi were forcefully closed out via a stop loss at 13.40. Similar thing happened to A2M yesterday but it doesn't mean the SP will not continue to recover further over the coming weeks.
