A Sydney to Perth intermodal (via Albury NSW, Newport Vic, Horsham Vic and Adelaide SA due to floods still closing part of the Parkes - Broken Hill NSW line) had 106 wagons.
From 6:23 in the video, one can observe 16 LAU containers. This train had 106 wagons (maximum length I suspect of 1800 metres or very close to it) so 16 is a goodly percentage.
Given the fleet of under 400 and how some railable containers will be at clients' premises, it doesn't take that many trains hauling this number to obtain good utilisation.
Because it's peak pre-Christmas, LAU's biggest battle may be obtaining space on Pacific National's intercapital freights, as like road transport at this time of year, there's big demand. CEO Kim Lindsay assured SH a year or so ago that LAU had (signed) an agreement with PN.
It'll normally be a lot quieter in early January when some manufacturers have salaried and wages staff on holidays:
