The sentiment seems to have suddenly turned negative. I can't see why. The wording of the notes to the AGM are standard and are a legal requirement for the motion to be put. The only question for directors is "Can I legally sign this?" If they are not certain of a proposal, they can safely sign. For the reverse consider the ASIC case against Andrew Forest where he was prosecuted for announcing something would occur, it subsequently did occur but ASIC claimed, successfully in the first instance, that Forest was not certain, and therefore he was not able to make the announcement. This wording does not preclude reasonably advanced negotiations about a transaction!
As far as I can see there has been no change to the fundamentals of this stock. No doubt we have hit a few "stop loss" marks and the trend is down. As far as I can see, an excellent buying opportunity.
