I dont think it is the job of the board to constantly spruik the business but work on building the actual business and report to the shareholders how this is being done, I think the company produced an excellent annual report that gave a good idea of what they were doing to build the business, I am much more worried when I see ceos tweeting micro updates to pump the stock than when companies stick to the required quarterly updates ... Likewise saving $10k on bus class tickets by attending by skype I do not have a big issue with ...
