As already mentioned by others they are not comparing pre and post consolidation prices they are comparing prices that have been adjusted for the consolidation. .04 in January 2020 was actually .002 so their statement is correct. So if you purchased back in Jan 2020 then you would be pretty happy I would think.
If you feel they are accountable for anything then by all means hold them to account, but just not for what you think.
