There's a lot of politics at play when it comes to the leadership of CXZ.
Does Aaryn have technical (automotive SaaS) experience? No.
Does Aaryn have broader general management/CEO experience? No.
Does Aaryn currently have extensive support from the small-cap funds? No.
Is Aaryn intelligent? Yes.
Is Aaryn young and ambitious? Yes.
Is Aaryn willing to work hard to make a name for himself and prove the doubters wrong? Yes.
The current team, the new NEDs and Aaryn are on minimal wages at the moment. So this is not your typical lifestyle small-cap ASX company. Heck, Aaryn hasn't even taken a salary over the past few months. I do hope they line their pockets because if they achieve that, it will be via the share price not salary.
I'm not saying he is the best person for the job from the universe of possible candidates.
But, I am saying that I think he can deliver shareholder value over the next few years.
