Pete, I'm sure there are others but Peplin Inc asx PLI was taken over by Leo Pharmaceutical in 2009. Was beginning stage 3 clinical trials on a north Queensland weed derived skin cancer treatment.

Was a shareholder and did quite well from the acquisition. Not sure if the promising treatment went any further though.
