'Mr Market' looks forward not backwards, so at face value the metrics look good.
In another thread, 'HC' contributor Book keeper96 criticised GDG's investment bonds, suggesting the product was only worthwhile for those consistently on taxable incomes of above A$200000 per annum. He's correct that this is a small percentage of Australia's c.16 million wage and salary earners but what he omitted was that as salaries increase - albeit in some years slowly, but will change with inflation coming to us soon despite RBA complacency - it will each year be a greater percentage of the community.
